Welcome

Welcome from the Admissions Office

Thank you for your interest in Hillel Day School! We are glad that you have taken the time to learn about our school, what makes Hillel so unique, and the many benefits your children will receive by attending our innovative Jewish day school dedicated to providing a modern education in a cutting-edge facility designed to give our students every advantage for future success.

With a student population of around 560, Hillel offers children a safe, nurturing atmosphere during their most formative years, all while providing an academic, spiritual, and moral foundation. Hillel’s ECC-8 model provides crucial stability with a keen focus on the social-emotional and developmental needs of students ages two to fourteen.

Hillel students acquire essential skills to succeed in the world they will inherit. Skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and character will not be replaced by robots and enable our graduates to succeed in high school, college, and beyond. Students pursue their passions, unlock their creativity, and engage in authentic learning experiences in small classes with two teachers and specialists who facilitate and enrich the learning. Along the way, students problem-solve and analyze in two languages, utilize the latest technology to support their learning, and receive guidance from teachers who both nurture and challenge them as they lay an exceptional academic foundation for all students.

As a community day school, Hillel families are diverse in Jewish affiliation and observance. Your child will develop a deep personal connection to Judaism, rooted in genuine respect for the wide range of practice and belief that exist in the Jewish community.

We pride ourself on becoming a community for your entire family. When the school day ends, we offer a robust menu of after-school activities, including a wide variety of athletics. We encourage and welcome parental involvement, and enjoy sharing school gatherings, performances and life-cycle events with our students and their families.

It is very important that families understand that tuition should not be a deterrent to enrolling your child at Hillel. Hillel is committed to making school affordable. In fact, over 50% of our students receive some form of tuition assistance. For more information regarding affordability, please click on the Affording Hillel link.

Come to visit during the school day to meet our exemplary faculty, staff, and students, and observe our innovative and exciting educational philosophy in action! You will witness first-hand how Hillel seamlessly incorporates ethics and values into the lives of our students.

We are here to help prospective parents familiarize themselves with every aspect of Hillel so they can determine the best educational setting for their child and family and to make the admission process as smooth and as friendly as possible. We look forward to sharing our special school with you.
