We are a vibrant organization of parents and staff whose mission is to enrich the school life of the students. One of the unique aspects of Hillel Day School is the willingness of parents to be involved in activities that support the school in many significant ways. Hillel’s PTO contributes to the school through service, social and financial endeavors. The following are just some of the programs which PTO funds and supports:
  • Cultural arts programs/assemblies
  • Field Trips
  • Holiday celebrations and class treats
  • Gmilut Chasadim- Acts of Loving Kindness awareness programs
  • Family-to-Family welcoming
  • Team sports transportation
  • PTO Connections-parent awareness lectures
  • Teacher appreciation
  • Social action
These programs provide Hillel Day School students, staff and parents with wonderful supplemental, educational and learning opportunities.

How Does PTO Support These Activities?

PTO cannot accomplish its mission without the generosity and support of its parent volunteers who wholeheartedly work on its behalf.  Whether it is fundraising through selling Hillel Spirit Wear or any one of the PTO hot lunches, PTO’s proceeds all go toward enriching the school day.
