Jewish Communal Professional Discount
Hillel deeply values Jewish community involvement, activism and leadership.
In accordance with that value, the school is offering 30% off tuition for children of eligible
Jewish community professionals for the 2026-27 school year.
Eligibility for this discount requires the following:

Kindergarten through 8th grade student(s) currently enrolled or in the process of enrolling

At least one parent/legal guardian must be a year-round, full-time employee at an eligible Jewish non-profit organization, outlined below:

Jewish Federation of Detroit Agencies
-
Jewish Federation of Ann Arbor Agencies
-
Synagogues
-
Jewish ECC/Preschools and Day Schools
-
Jewish Camps
-
Other Jewish Organizations approved by the JCPD Committee

Eligible Jewish non-profits must have been in existence for a minimum of three years

If a student enrolls mid-year, the discount will be prorated
-
If a student is currently enrolled, and the parent or legal guardian’s employment at a qualified Jewish non-profit organization begins mid-year, the family will be eligible to receive a prorated discount

JCPD applicants are not required to complete the school’s tuition assistance application unless additional assistance is requested
-
Eligibility for this discount does not guarantee admission or enrollment

Existing families with a current tuition benefit will receive the greater of their current assistance award or the Jewish Communal Professional Discount

Applicants may be eligible for further financial support through Hillel’s tuition assistance program

This discount applies to tuition only and excludes other fees
