Welcome to Hillel Day School

Step through the doors of Hillel and you feel something unmistakable: the warmth, the joy, and the sense of purpose that define our community. Guided by our motto, Mind and Soul. Better Together, Hillel is a place where learning is sacred, relationships are grounded in respect and kindness, and every child is known, challenged, and inspired.
 

As we approach our 70th anniversary, Hillel continues to provide an exceptional early childhood to 8th grade education that integrates academic excellence with deep Jewish learning and values. More than 2,500 Hillel alumni now live and lead throughout the United States and Israel, carrying forward a strong sense of Jewish pride and a commitment to their communities. At a time when Jewish identity and connection to Israel face new and complex challenges, our mission has never been more vital.

Our Judaic Studies program engages students in Tanakh, Rabbinic literature, Hebrew language, and Jewish practice, bringing timeless texts and values into meaningful conversation with modern life. Tefillah (prayer), both traditional and creative, nurtures spiritual growth and a sense of belonging. Hebrew fluency and a love of Israel are central to our curriculum, strengthening students’ ties to Jewish culture, peoplehood, and homeland.

Complementing this is an outstanding General Studies program grounded in innovative, student-centered teaching. Our dedicated faculty and staff cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and compassion, empowering students to thrive academically while developing a strong moral compass.
